Image Convolutions

This website is meant to help you play around with image convolutions. Simply follow the steps in the 'Settings' panel to get started.

Please, keep in mind that:

  1. If your image is bigger than 768x512 px, it will be scaled down to this size.
  2. The convolution for the edge pixels is computed according to the periodic boundary condition.
  3. To create the kernel more easily, you can hold down the left mouse button and drag the pointer across the kernel matrix.
